After an extremely disappointing first visit shortly after they opened we decided to give the restaurant a second chance. Unfortunately the second experience was even worse than the first. The warning signs were there when the draught beer I ordered was barely chilled, the calamari starter was flavourless and slightly gritty. My wife ordered chicken livers and chips, the livers were completely overcooked altogether tough and mealy and the chips were completely inconsistently cooked (some were edible while others were dry and chewy. My baby chicken was dry and tough and the chips were same as above. When we pointed this out to the manageress she was apathetic and unhelpful. We paid and left and when we arrived back home in Centurion I discovered that the Pasteis de Nata we had ordered as a takeaway had not been packed in the bag. I returned to the restaurant and again the manageress was the same as before . Her attitude is clearly reflected in the way the kitchen staff prepares the food
