New chef Shaun Verhoog is breathing over-due love and talent into the food at Pastis. It's long been a favourable option, especially in winter with it's couches and fireplace beckoning, but now it's a must. Ice cold craft beers on tap, a decent wine list and attractive daily specials all add to the experience. My husband rated the burger in his top 3 and my sirloin and pepper sauce were exquisite. So happy it's in such capable hands - Pastis really deserves it.
