Tasty modern French dishes. Quality and flavour, but lacked that wow factor for me. The duck was tender and tasty, with an Oriental slant. The creme brulee dessert was a highlight - flavour combinations made a traditional dessert something different. I was surprised by the excellent coffee that ended off the meal. Unfortunately, there was no fire lit in the fireplace on one of the coldest days of the year, which made the whole event a bit uncomfortable.
