The starter were disappointing. For starter we shared the Anti Pasti Plank, the olives tasted like it came out of a packet, and Morgenster who specialize in Olives is down the road from Lourensford. The Hummus – tasted like blended chickpeas, we could not taste any spices, i.e cumin or paprika, garlic, lemon or tahini. I also believe when you order a bottle of still water, the bottle should be 1st a sealed bottle and 2nd cold and not poured into a glass jug from a filter machines at room temperature…and then get charged for the filter water. Next time I will order a BOTTLE of sparkling water…hopefully chilled. Our waiter was amazing, very friendly and helpful, if it wasn’t for the great service, I would properly not go back again.
