Went here with two friends visiting from the UK for a Thursday night dinner. The service was great, and it was clear that the owners cared about providing a good service. The ambience was also very pleasing: it is a small place and has it's own fireplace, with a rustic yet tasteful decor! Great for a chilly Winters night, but not good for a large crowd. The food was good for what it was, do not expect gourmet haute cuisine, but rather mom's home cooking, and the prices certainly match this which was great. Small touches were nice: Chakalaka and Pennywortel chutney on the table, a complimentary glass of wine, a jug of water for the table, a bottle of ALL GOLD tomato sauce for one diners chips. The kind of things that aren't hard to do but make it nice to see that they have made an effort. Overall, I would highly recommend the place, and certainly plan on going back (their breakfast offerings seem especially interesting!)
