Im from New Zealand and was in Cape Town last week. This place is the best Ive ever eaten in. The excitement started when we ventured down the unique entrance and opened a door into a beautiful restaurant. The service ws excellent and the food was amazing. Started with the best prawns Ive ever had, mains looked and tasted fantastic. I had duck - which consisted of a duck pie, breast and foie gras with a plum sauce. Finished off with a chocolate dessert that came with frozen balsamic vinegar and olive oil!! The best Im likely to ever have. The wine suggestions from the waiter were perfect, with a great chardonnay and cabernet. Id recommend anyone to go and experience this phenominal restaurant.
