Inspired by the likes of Schillers Liquor Bar in New York and Dandelyan Bar in London, the new space on the corner of Bree and Pepper Street is designed to offer Capetonians a spot to have a drink and bite before, or after, a night out. The Arcade kitchen will be open from 10am to 11pm Monday to Saturday, and the bar will remain open until 2am on Thursdays and Saturdays. The menu will focus on cafe-style food - think chicken pregos and rolled beef fillet, plus pizzas, burgers and salads. On the drinks side of things, the team is planning some classic and new cocktails, shots and SAB beer on tap.
