The longest running kosher restaurant in South Africa. Avron’s Place on Sea Point Main Road is a very popular choice amongst locals and international visitors alike. The humbly adorned family friendly eatery, which is under the supervision of the Cape Beth Din, serves a wide variety of dishes including steaks, chops, mixed grills, burgers, Cape Malay curry , beef espatadas, chicken dishes, vegetarian dishes, salads and fish dishes.

Though prices are generally rather reasonable (particularly for kosher food price standards), Avron’s Place keeps prices affordable and has great daily specials and great Shabbat box specials which change weekly.

The restaurant also does take-aways and catering for all events  (Dinner Parties, Kids parties, Birthday cakes, Brit milah,  bar/batmitzvah, 21sts, weddings, etc. )
