Beira Mar is perched on edge of the calm, crystal clear ocean. Owner and entrepreneur, David Tilbury, arrived from Florida, USA, to the West Coast and started the restaurant. If the picturesque setting isnt enough for you, the delicious food will delight you.You can try the slow roasted lamb shank pie for a ‘melt in your mouth’ taste sensation or the prawn and lemon skewer washed down with a delicious wine from their well stocked cellar. What a pleasant suprise on a warm Saturday afternoon last week. We were staying in St Helena Bay and decided to pop into Beira Mar. We were made to feel extremely welcome and the food was delicious. Live music played and we could not resist staying until the sun went down, sipping cocktails on the beautiful deck, overlooking the ocean. We were even offered 'blankies' and a gas heater to keep us warm. The service, the food and the atmosephere were all absolutely wonderful and we shall certainly return.
