If you're looking for a fine dining experience for a special occassion Butlers is definitely the place to go. Situated conveniently in Hillcrest it is easily accessible from Durban, Pinetown, Gilletts or Kloof. Warmly welcomed by smiling staff from decor is inviting exciting and totally unique. Seating is exceptionally comfortable, tables are beautifully laid. The menu is varied with choices ranging from vegetarian to fish, chicken, pork and red meats and many variants (Thai, Italian, South African, German etc). The desert menu is decadent. Service was just magnificent. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable waiters ensure drinks, starters ,mains and desserts are served at perfect temperature and on time. Portion size is good. The plating exceptional. I would have loved to have the Chef/s. Vibe is delightful and relaxing allowing one to truley enjoy conversation and their meals. Perfect choice for my sons 16th birthday.
