In season, the small country shop is thick with the aroma of strawberries – they line the walls and floor. Pick the fruit in season or buy the typical farm produce in forms like strawberry, peach, kumquat, green fig or tomato jam, fruit chutney, mustard, quince honey or tomato atchar. The farm stall, situated at the end of a winding gravel road, also has a large play area for children.
Ethical shopper tip: Though not organically certified, the farm uses organic fertilisers and abstains from traditional methods of soil sterilisation.
