JC Pub and Brasserie is probably one of the best restaurants to go to, it doesn't matter what the occasion is. The food is always amazing and they cater for everyone. Definitely a good place to hang out with friends.

Great place to have a business lunch or enjoy a chilled evening with music. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is awesome. Definitely a place one can eat at again and again.

JC Brasserie & Pub offers guests an assortment of hearty meals ranging from light finger foods to designer burgers and fresh seafood. They recently opened in Cape Town due to the success of their sister restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch. jC atmosphere give you the feel of being you self not to change at all. It also give you that room that feeling of being away from home. Food takes the spotlight as guests become its audience. Factors such as music, lighting, artwork and spacing combine to create comfort, intimacy and even romance and free your mind. further more the lighting is not bright and is not dim. And table settings suit the painting and the mood of music as well. For that It space tables out nicely so you have that atmosphere no matter how busy the restaurant is it wont interrupt you. due to that open space they ensure people aren’t sat on top of each other. They also have good amount of space between them.They make sure that large table in a dining room are well saved and not only that they also make sure they’re away from others. As i said Artwork also plays a part. Paintings hang on the walls of jC as they do at many restaurants. that mood portray a massage as guests. It also gives them a point of interest. There’s nothing worse than staring at a bare wall. You do need a focal point in any room but nothing too overpowering. jC architecture and surroundings provide the best art of all: its large dining room windows frame a view of district six and view of the sea. Outside’s greenery blends in with the interior wooden walls to match the color palette of the landscape. That emphasis on nature also applies to jC treatment of sound. i always go at jC during the morning avoiding music during the morning because it overpower the small dining room. It instead allows natural noise from the space to provide that tune. when i sit there sometime atmosphere comes from guests, their conversations, the clinking of glasses and cutlery. It’s a very relaxed environment. as a guests i preferred not to have music during morning.

There aren't many places in Cape Town where you are guaranteed good food, quick service and can enjoy the relaxed music of a band. JC Town however is one of the few places you can.

With specials throughout the week on food and drinks, pub quiz nights on Wednesday and live band on Friday; JC Brasserie offers a full week of entertainment.
