o’Galito inherits its cuisine from the Portuguese heritage and is reminiscent of Lorenzo Mark in the old days when readily available prawns, langoustines, crab, lobsters and oysters were prepared in decadent, boundless platters. Mainly specialising in seafood, the full a la carte menu includes tradition peri-peri chicken, fillet steak, duck, rabbit, and amongst others oxtail. With its stylish, subtle cream interior it is versatile as a stately business meeting space, an upmarket dining outing or for a romantic rendezvous. The cuisine at o’Galito’s has been perfected to a fine art over the years. They not only focus on extensive evening dining, they’ve created an elaborate light lunch menu – perfect for a quick lunch pit-stop or business meeting. A decadent treat not to miss is their delectable brownies.
Great food and even better service
There are only three in SA and all are situated in Pretoria.
Always greeted and welcomed with a smile.
This gem of a restaurant has excellent customer service all the time.
My all time favorite is the lunch specials, it's perfect meal and the presentation is always marvelous.
My sister and I shared the half chicken with prawns meal and our waiter was so kind, he plated it on two plates for us.
The chicken is made to perfection with our favorite option been mild and adding the special sauce exclusively made by O'Galito. The prawns are very delicious as well, the aroma is tantalizing, it is lightly salted and fried/grilled. The chips are crispy and freshly made and it actually remains hot and crispy!
I could not get over the hot chocolate, the fresh cream was out of this world. It was out of this world kind of delicious.
