I was at the restaurant in official capacity as a wedding service provider. The food was delicious (compliments to the chef), but the owner of the restaurant (or the lady in charge) was horribly rude to both me and the groom! Never in my life has anyone been so rude to me at any reception venue before. I would definately not recommend working with her on any function.

Fantastic country restaurant. Amazing welcome and great food. The place to go for a peaceful escape to nature in the Winelands!

This establishment offers the kind of food you wish you could eat at home everyday - real, authentic, comfort. This has been a family favorite since the first day - we always leave feeling spoilt, escaped and ready to face the world. Sunday brunch - our favorite place to celebrate, wedding and birthday memories for ever! Please keep going forever!

I have been a vegetarian for a number of years. The variety of food available is the best I have come across Cape Town. The food is delicious!

Wow, this place is a real hidden gem! I have never had such a warm welcome to a restaurant before, especially in the snobbish Winelands! We only arrived close to 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. As we walked in, the lovely chef welcomed us. We were concerned that we were too late for lunch, but she said we were always welcome and could stay for as long as we would like!We sat outside next to a beautiful lily pond and gorgeous forest, had the most delicious mezze and cheese platters and sipped our wine. The manageress came out to welcome us too! We only left after 5pm, being the last people there for at least an hour, and never did we once feel pressured to leave!Such a gorgeous restaurant, beautiful surroundings, great for children - a real country gem! Apparently their Sunday lunches are hugely recommended!
