Food
The menu is very extensive, and whether you feel like spoiling yourself and your partner with Beluga caviar and French Champagne, sushi platters or a good steak and chips, you’re sure to find it here. The appetizers are well sized and flavourful, and the plating technique is pleasantly old school style. The main dishes are fairly simple, a case of what you see is what you get. The proteins are well cooked and you will not be left hungry. Do try the lamb rack, the butternut and prawn tortellini or beef fillet. All are well prepared and plated, served with well thought-out starches and veg and sauces. The true hero of this restaurant, however, is the dessert selection. Do not skip the decadent and amazing chocolate fondants, crème brûlées or the semi-freddo, which are all fantastic.

Drinks
Although not cheap, the cocktail and wine list is extensive and shall not leave you wanting. There’s something for everyone. The bar stocks an extensive range of gorgeous spirits, brandies, whiskeys and specialty beverages.

Service
Very good. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive, and although at times they may come across as aloof, it is part of the Sandton vibe. Staff members are well trained, professional and work well as a team.

Ambience
The music and décor really adds to the experience and make for a fabulous atmosphere. This is the perfect spot for a sundowner or an evening get together with friends.

And…
They also offer platters and do functions – a versatile and friendly venue for a multitude of uses.
