What an overpriced restaurant! The food was okay, but my chicken dish was dry. The wines were very expensive - a bottle that will cost R60 at Makro now costs R290! The real issue was the lack of service - waiters clueless as to wine/drinks and orders. In no way a 5* restaurant. I would give it 3*.

Superb dining in a glorious venue! The waiting staff were amazing, to match the food. Favourite of the night - berry creme Brulee. Just divine.

Had Sunday lunch and selected new items off the menu - wanted to try Chef Andrew's new menu. Loved the pork dish - only complaint was that my veggies were slightly chewy and dehydrated. My friend had the kinglip and loved the mash/pesto and tapenade. The rataouille was in her opinion unnecessary. My dessert was a disappointment, the duo of tartlets. Apricot tartlet pastry was thick and moist not flaky and light; chocolate filling in the second tart was too much - didn't get to enjoy the pastry. The ice cream was the only enjoyable part. My friend enjoyed the creme brulee but felt the portion was too big.
