Food
The pizzas are thin-based and fired in the wood oven the traditional way and the toppings are mouth-watering. Prawns, chorizo, Danish feta and roasted tomatoes; gorgonzola and onion marmalade; and lamb, feta and mint sauce are perennial favourites. If you dare, there is an option with chilli, beans, corn, guacamole and sour cream, and one with Thai beef, coconut milk, cashews and sweet potato. All pizzas come in grande or bambino, so if you can’t decide what you feel like, order a whole range, stick them in the middle of the table and tuck in. Pastas, gnocchi and salads complete the picture.

Wine
A competent list with something for everybody, but cocktails and exotic shooters take pride of place. Flaming Lamborghini anyone?

Service
Family-run, it’s fast, friendly and efficient. Somehow the kitchen always manages to get the right toppings to the right tables at the right time.

Ambience
It’s fun, relaxed and funky and you can suss out what’s cooking on the Davenport strip below.

And...
Don’t turn down a dessert pizza with that’s Nutella, marshmallows and nuts topped with mascarpone. (FC, October 2012)

  • Arrived 7.30pm with my wife and child a smile in my heart to order a pizza,. Was told to remove myself from his counter universe(space). Disgusting rudest fatfuk manager I've ever met. I asked to be left alone so I could order peacefuly but he obviously wanted some drama. Chased out with groanings and insults from him to get pies at woolworths. Dosent deserve anything a good business or life has to offer.

  • We needed a place to eat quite late on a Sunday evening and found out via Facebook and Trip Advisor that Pizzetta was open until 11pm with the kitchen closing at 9.45pm We arrived at 8.30pm to a very empty restaurant only to be told by the manager that we better order quickly because they were closing the kitchen at 9pm. I told him that we had chosen to eat here because their website indicated they were open late and suggested that he update their page to reflect the new times. He became extremely argumentative and told me that "it's his kitchen and he decides when to close it". He was very antagonistic towards me and made things uncomfortable from the start. I decided to let it go and enjoy my dinner with friends. We ate, paid the bill and sat chatting for a while and then he virtually kicked us out saying we had stayed 45min past closing time and claimed that I purposefully stayed longer than I should just to spite him. He really needs a lesson in customer service. His attutude was unnecessary and shocking. Is it that unreasonable to request a restauranteur to provide customers with updated opening times on their webpage? We have been regular customers in the past but based on his attitude this evening, we will not be back.

  • This place has consistently gone down hill since we moved to Glenwood. It feels like they are trying to save on everything, skimping on toppings, overpriced drinks in small glasses. Felt thoroughly cheated, there are a lot better pizza places to go there, its a shame!!!!

Try the one with roasted peppers, marinated artichokes, green olives and sliced tomato or an interesting Thai-infused choice with coconut milk, cashew nuts and sweet potato.
