Owner's description

Pomodoro is a charming family tratoria in the heart of the Wilderness Village. It is the meeting place of the locals and you will always find it buzzing with activity and driven by the passion we have for what we do.

We invite you to enjoy some authentic Italian cuisine whilst exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Garden Route. Pomodoro offers you delicious food in a relaxed environment, boasting quite possibly the best pizzas to be found as far as the eye can see.

The outside terraces offer a front row seat of the village activities which, together with the laid-back atmosphere and great food, makes it the perfect place to while away the hours.

4.5 In the middle of a small town, delicious pizza and pasta can be found. Don’t miss the Pomodoro fillet
My close to, go to for well made pizza and pasta!
Pomodoro in Wildernis bad experience. Ordered wine at 120 a bottle and made it very clear ehat white wine we wanted. The waitress was so distracted that someone else served our meals was the manageress. Then the waitress presented us with a bill of R190 for the bottle of white wine. When I queried thid she wipped out R70.00 to give to me. I refused it and we paid the full bill and left not to return again. It was evident the waitress new exactly what she was doing was devious. Very dissapointing as we actually enjoyrd this rest in the past.
We had such a bad dinner experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Brandied Prawns Pasta, my partner and a friend ordered the Pollo Alla Parmigiana. At first we had to wait an hour an half for our food to finally arrive. On arrival of our food our pasta was so undercooked, one would think after waiting so long, your food will at least be cooked properly (so much for Al dente). The manager informed us that our table was reserved for other guests at 7pm, which didn't leave much time left for us to even send back the horrible food and after waiting so long I was famished, so I was desperate to eat anything at that stage. I advised the waitress that the food was horrible and undercooked, she shrugged her shoulders (no apology even), instead she complained about how tired she was... When we arrived at home after dinner, my partner and friend started vomiting and had terrible diarrhea (note, they both had the Pollo Alla Parmigiana - I suspect the chicken might have been off) - FOOD POISONING. This place will never see me again - I'm appalled!
