  • First time I went there we waited an hour for a table but the food compensated for the wait. Decided to go there with a party of 15 people to celebrate my birthday. After waiting 2 hours for a table I went to inquire about the table and we were told by the hostesses that it was unlikely we would be seated. Having spoken to the manager to try organize a table he came back and told us it was impossible to accommodate us. If they could not accommodate us from the time I put my name on the waiting list, they should have said so. Instead we left there angry and hungry. This experience has deterred me from going there again.

  • Great food! Loved the karaoke pods upstairs. We tried the Wok Fried Calamari- seasoned with pink peppercorns, chilli, lime, mint and coriander. Our favorite dish. We also tasted the peanut and Cheese Springrolls smoked with plum sauce. Just 2 spring rolls. We also tasted the BBQ pork Belly which comes in mini buns tasty. (2 bun) Asian bbq sauce, cucumber and peanuts For a main I tried the Thai Red Curry with beef short rib, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, baby corn, basil, mange tout and sticky rice. Served in a pineapple. This portion for the price was ridiculously a small portion. For Drinks we tried their Ginger Ninja Mojito - Bacardi oakhart rum, ginger beer, coconut shavings, coriander, mint and lime. It was different and tasty. Although there was tooooooo much ice and too little cocktail. The mint was wilted. My rating mostly due to the all the portion sizes being so small in relationship to the price. (Stingy Suzy) The idea and interior was beautiful and colourful.

  • Overpriced and underwhelming. I spent R1500 on sub-standard food in a hollow room that’s so loud you can’t hear the conversation around the table. The portions are tiny, I actually lost weight while dining there. To give you an idea of how bad this place is: one of the starters is a portion of beans, just beans, the kind you buy for R5 a pack at any grocer. They toss it in some garlic and salt and serve it for R70. Then there’s the karaoke room - a 2x2m room with a 20inch computer screen and a R20 mic that they rent out for R800 an hour. They probably spent R800 on the sound system. This place is a joke. One good thing was the service though, our waitress was amazing. Avoid this place, it’s terrible.

  • We tried the Wok Fried Calamari- seasoned with pink peppercorns, chilli, lime, mint and coriander. Our favorite dish. The calamari was tender with slight chargril taste. • On a positive, much thought has gone into the themed decor recreating an almost decadent south east Asian ambience. However the food, pork belly ramen, slices of bland tasteless pork in a luke warm noodle broth, was hugely disappointing. To top a very disappointing visit we were subjected to what I will describe as an unlawful assault on my ear drums. Thrash metal or whatever it's called these days just doesn't work in an Asian restaurant. I found it a most intrusive and unwanted trespass on my senses. Unless you're into this musical genre, not a place to go for a quiet drink.
