Owner's description

Sir Herbert Restaurant is situated in the heartland of corporate business offices as well as embassies in BROOKLYN PRETORIA
Main meeting place for corporates at lunchtime, Catering for office parties and special occasions.
Evenings we provide a classy upmarket place where people can experience fine dining
We regularly host wine tasting evenings, music evenings as well as other specially organised events, building a cultural hub for our guests where they can enjoy themselves in an upmarket and safe location.
The restaurant is in a house designed by British architect, Sir Herbert Baker and we are aiming to continue in the style, ambiance and genre of that era. It has a distinctive early South African feel and takes one back in time. It has seating for 34 people inside, as well as a beautiful outside area which can seat another 15 people. This means that almost every taste can be catered for.

I lovely restaurant with great ambience and service. I attended a wine pairing evening, and enjoyed a great selection of south African dishes, which included bunny chow, venison pie, finished off with a pudding of butternut pancakes. It is well worth a visit and just a stones throw away from Brooklyn Mall.
wow what a beautiful restaurant, compliments to the Chef, absolutely intimate little restaurant for the romantic folks . LOVE THE GARDEN SETTING
In my book, this is one of the top ten restaurants in Pretoria. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. The service is incredible. The atmosphere is quiet and somewhat reserved, but this is to be expected from a restaurant like this. Excellent wine list too. Highly recommended if you're looking to take your dining to the next level.
