I've been going to the Brazenhead for years, attending a pub quiz. And in all that time I've never had a great meal. I've had average meals but mostly I've been disappointed. They just don't seem to get it right and several friends say they've had upset stomachs after eating there. The fish and chips, liver and onions, and pies are safe. I really wouldn't recommend anything else.
The 'ablutions' are always in a very poor state.
The ambience is great and it's a good place for an after work drink. I just wish they would get their act together - food, service and cleanliness.
