The Claremont Cricket Club, a Constantia landmark, is the perfect place for a family-style eatery, with its spectacular views of Table Mountain across the cricket fields. With its casual atmosphere and great service, The Clubhouse is the perfect venue for unwinding with friends and family. Sports fans will enjoy gathering around the TV screens when there’s a game on or taking in live cricket action on the outside fields. Enjoy a delicious variety of great food and drinks with wholesome choices from the menu’s seasonal mix of ingredients and flavours. In the chilly winter months you can cosy up to the indoor fireplace while indulging in options like warming soups, hearty lamb shank, flavourful coq au vin or the signature Clubhouse burger. To complement sunny days and the spectacular scenery, dine al fresco on the wooden deck with the lighter, fresh summer menu that will be available. Children are more than welcome at this Southern Suburbs eatery and will be entertained while parents relax and enjoy the surroundings, food and wine. They can explore the exciting and supervised play area, run freely and play sport on the cricket fields or watch videos in the movie room on miserable rainy days. The special kids’ menu includes favourites like fish and chips, a burger, pizzas and spaghetti and meatballs, finished off with Mini Magnum or King Cone treats.

What an amazing place .had crispy pork belly with mustard mash that went to the cord of my heart.. my kids were on the moon playing on the jungle gym . The views are immaculate ,overlooking the mountainsfrom corner to corner what could you ask for. The prices are much reasonable. (oh they also provide cricket balls ,bats ,soccer rugby balls for kids to use ,and 2 massive cricket fields) will definitely go back
The worst night of my life hosting my husbands birthday and not a word of apology from the owner. Waiters had no idea we had booked the man dining area and 2 verandahs and we were 85 people crowds and sweating on a hot summer night indoors with waiters plunging through us to get to those verandahs that should have been ours, to serve dinners and those diners coming through our party!!!! I had to ask my friends to help hand food around, I had luckily supplied extra fruit as there was not enough food and I had to ensure juice , water and wine And ice avil as it kept running out . I had supplied juice but was told it ran out as it was mixed in absurd I drinkable strength. I had toaskformore ice. It was a living hell. Ami waived the cost of room and verandah hireand which was pathetic as I can't get that night back. When I asked the waiters for help they said they didn't know we had booked the verandahs and could do nothing. I found event manager Ami on the kitchen as she hadn't even appeared!!! And asks for help and she said she was too busy!!!!! If crse she was busy but we had booked 2 months the ago! Nooooooo stars! But you have to fill one on to send this review. Worst night of my life. People left early. Ghastly cruel treatment. I was so flustered I forgot I could order more pizzas if I needed them. That would have helped with the mbimal food served. But I was utterly exhausted and worked all night!!!! An apology from the owner who I believe is called Geoff has never even arrived! Shocking !
My friend and I decided to try a new place and celebrate the end of school term. We arrived with our kids on Friday for lunch and found a table on the sun-drenched patio overlooking the mountains :-) the kids had a ball on the bouncy castle and the food was delish ... the poor wait staff were slammed as some staff members hadn't turned up & there was a very large table seated for lunch, but they were very friendly with good service and the yummy food (we all had pizza) was worth the wait. The manageress was helping out and we got everything we asked for .. nothing was too much trouble. So, we will definitely be back with our hubbies ... a fab venue with friendly service and great food, wine and views ... what more can you ask for?
The Clubhouse staff are always welcoming, kids are free to play on the large fields that surround the club and adults get to choose wine from a simple yet great wine list. Food is top class and the kids meals are amazing, cheaper than Spur kids meals! Menu is varied but not the cheapest. Fab spot with kids.
Love this place! Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, great vibe and AMAZING food! The salad nicoise is to die for. Can't wait to back !
