Owner's description
The Immigrant is all about Jozi and Braamfontein. It's a place to mix and mingle, for eating, drinking, sharing and relaxing. Set up by the guys behind The 86 Public and Republic of 94 and closely linked to Once in Joburg hostel they serve good, easy food and drinks.

The food is terrible and overly priced. I ordered ribs and i got told that there were no ribs,the waiter recommend bread with chicken and cheese.then half an hour later a guy came and ordered ribs and he received them. I don't understand how their menu works maybe its on special preference. The place has a nicely decorated but has a terrible vibe and there is no music.i wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

The location is very nice. It is a shame that the food quality is so low and quite pricy for what it is. It's the food of an average fast food with the prices of a good restaurant.
