Sushi great! Fish so-so but the restaurant can be noisy and they have gone VERY expensive - nice setting but standards can be upped a bit.
We were a table of 10 pax. Served like kings by our waiter, Charl. Food was mouth watering and sò fresh. We sat upstairs where there is a romantic feel and still a lovely view of the ocean. Thank you for a lovely eat out experience Kingfisher!

This restaurant had the worst service I experienced on the Garden Route. My husband and I went there for dinner and had our waitress ignore us most of the evening. At one point after our waitress dropped my drink on the table whilst passing my husband said "excuse me" to get her attention to which she turned around and scolded him whilst pointing her finger that she would get to him when she did and then continued to walk. We were so taken aback and embarrassed that we let it go. By her reaction someone would of thought she was rudely approached but this was far from the truth. How could that be a response from a polite excuse me as she passed by?
We also noticed that the more 'mature' patrons were served at a much better standard by our waitron. We are a youngish couple but I don't understand why she singled us apart from the tables where others of 40+ were.
We decided we were on holiday and it wasn't worth making a fuss. At the end of the evening when we paid via card the waitress then double checked the card and then triple checked the slip to make sure the payment went through. I left hugely unhappy and don't recommend The Kingfisher. Food was good, nice setting but there is far better places where you aren't made to feel like a peasant!

Hi, I went to Kingfisher a while back and I can only say that the food was great and the barman you have there - I think his name is Steven - is excellent. I could not have asked for better service.
