At the Lobster Pot you will get great value for money. Dont miss the seafood is and delicious steaks for those who do not like seafood. The Sunday lunch for R65.00 is a bargain and there is a dinner dance on the first Friday of the month.

Not sure where to begin. Worst restaurant experience of my life. Frozen oysters, lobster Thermador smothered in cheese. Rice was tasteless. Fish was raw and lacked any flavor. Not even going to mention the tartar and garlic butter accompanying the fish. During the 55 years might have been great but time to evolve. Should not have paid the bill.

The food was very tasty and generous, the staff and owner very friendly, and it has a quiet, classy atmosphere.

Average cost for a main meal not as stated above. The place came recommended but some meals were disappointing. Went as a party of 8 with 3 kids. Do not have the prawns or the lobster if you expect value for money, excessively expensive for the quality and size, maybe just this time of year but extremely overpriced for what you get. Staff friendly and ambiance more or less as expected.
