Love the food at Mad Italian. It is such a cosy restaurant and the service is good. Food is well priced and great value. The panzerotti pasta is great. Also has a chilled vibe, which is exactly what you want. On the whole, I would definitely recommend it.
Went there last night my husband ordered prawns and calamari dish from their LCHF menu and it was served with chips! I ordered linefish of the day and it was served with caulimash which was nice but I was also given potato wedges and butternut! We were Disappointed as we are banting! Worse still, My sister ordered Masala the dish was so tasteless, the chicken in it was like processed/washed meat with a dallop of sauce.
We went there last night and were so pleased with the service and the food. We didn't have reservations but they made a big effort to squeeze us in. Then when one of our meals didn't come they apologized profusely and gave her a free dessert. The food was delicious- definitely comfort food.

Very very disappointed and I didnt even have a chance to try them. We arrived at 5.50pm instead of their opening time of 6pm and were turned away at the door. If the kitchen wasn't open the right thing to do is get us seated and offer us drinks until it is open. Train your waiters. It seems I'm not the first to complain about the service.

I have eaten there a number of times and was very dissapointed by our experience there on Friday night. There was no meet and greet at the front door. We wandered through to the back to be met by a waitress who looked at us as if we had steeped off another planet. A manager walked up and literally waved us to a table (I kid you not). The faccacia we ordered to start was very good but it all went south after that. We both ordered the chicken breast albeit with different variations. I was in the chicken business for many years and what we had was not chicken breast, it was a processed piece of something that vaguely resembled chicken, smothered in a floury sauce that had clearly been prepared some time in advance and dumped on top of over cooked pasta. My wife had masala which was the most tasteless thing I have tasted in months. What a pity Craft Trattoria were fully booked.
