    Went there with 3 friends for a meal and drinks. After placing our food orders she eventually brought back 3 meals except for mine and when I questioned her about whether or not my food was still coming, she said she forgot and that the kitchen was now closed and I wouldn't be able to get food. She then ignored my table right until the end of the night when it was time to pay.

    Great pub with a good selection of beers and the food is really good (great pizzas, ribs and burgers). Can get a bit noisy inside when it’s busy, the outside section is brilliant in summer.

    The below review by GR is completely unreasonable and appears an attempt to try and give this pub a bad name... The Toad on the Road is one of best beer gardens in the deep south and aways a pleasure to visit.

    We celebrated my 25th birthday there this week. As a first time patron, I would like to say, you will be seeing a whole lot more of me. Great spot with a vibrant atmosphere, absolutely fantastic value for money. The food (especially the pizzas) was scrumptious. We had a friendly waiter who served us throughout the evening. I would say the cherry on top was the secure parking. Unpretentious goodness.
