Owner's description

Tres Jolie is a country restaurant and venue in the Ruimsig area of Gauteng. Characterised by exquisite gardens and landscaped with fountains and water features this picturesque restaurant also boasts a farmyard where children can feed the animals, enjoy a pony ride and play whilst under the watchful eye of their parents. Tres Jolie’s menu is an interesting combination of Mediterranean cuisine and hearty South African fare. From our Cape Malay curries to our famous wraps to our spareribs and steaks we pride ourselves on the quality and care we put into every dish. We also provide catering and services for your party or event. We have a pizza menu and all pizzas are made fresh and served straight from a traditional wood oven to your table. Because we love kids, there is a special menu for them too!

    Wedding picnic for 20
Had a good time. Will be back.

I visited this restaurant a few months back and think that it was all great - for adults and kids too.

Went there to celebrate 2 birthdays and experienced the worst service ever. The waitress just didn't order our starters, brought us our mains first, then brought us starters and afterwards our poorly re-heated mains. The milk in our two irish coffees curdled, and the coffee was old and burnt. Their manager did his best to appease us, with a round of free drinks; but I will never ever set foot in that restaurant again and advise you not to either. Luckily we did not book our 2012 wedding there.
