this reastuarant is amazing always worth the visit! wouldn't change it at all!

the best iteam on the menu is the herb crusted sole with the mushroom sauce! dessert, the chocolate fondant- worth the wait!

Returned for Sunday lunch, loved it the first time, but disappointing this time. Unacceptable to serve 2 minute noodles instead of spaghetti, for a kids meal! Waited far too long between courses to be served. Pity, as a great venue and ambience.

A meal at Tumbledowns warrants taking a trip to the Midlands! We have never been disappointed in any meal at this gem of a place.

Lovely idea with the fireplace going in a country setting. Starters were a little disappointing - we had the prawn risotto which tasted like oatmeal and the prawn was under cooked. The chicken livers were served in a prune and the flavours did not always work. When our mains arrived we forgot all about the starters being disappointing and completely enjoyed the leg of lamb and Moroccan beef curry. The food was flavourful and comforting. Dessert was a chocolate fondant which was not completely set but all the sweetness and moistness still there. Would visit again.

Have never had a bad meal here ever! Affordable really good food with a twist in most items.
