Vovo Telo started life in a house in Richmond Hill, Port Elizabeth, as a few friends carrying out baking experiments, but has expanded to several locations around the country. The Stanley Avenue bakery has a Mediterranean feel, located in the cobbled courtyard of the arty shopping and restaurant area. The emphasis is on freshly baked crusty breads, pastries such as pain aux raisins or apricotinis and it’s also a great place for brunch or lunch. A new branch on Fourth Avenue in Parkhurst recently opened.
