Such an amazing all round experience. The food selection is top notch, the service is outstanding and the view outside is true to the elegance of Cape Town!
Visit the restaurant often, and this evening's dinner was another great experience. Had good service. Great dinner and dessert - beef fillet, springbok & cocoa stew, pistachio eton mess. This went down very well with some red wine and good cappuccino. Went home with Nitidia Sirrah. Thanks
It was our first time visiting Cassia. We really enjoy great food and had high expectations when visiting. You can be proud as our expectations have been exceeded with excellence. The welcoming was warm and friendly. We were assisted by Kevin and he was very graceful in his service. Well done! For starters, I ordered the mussels which was out of this world. A very different kind of taste but well worth the try. The beer added that extra touch of tastiness. I then ordered the roast beef, veggies and Yorkshire pudding for mains. I did not want the meal to end. It was the best Yorkshire ever. So soft like a baby's bottom! My dessert was the cinnamon ice cream and pastries. I have an absolute addiction to cinnamon and I was delighted by the light and fresh dessert. Really tasteful and beautifully flavored. 10/10 for your wonderful plate presentation and your food is so worthy of the prices. This was by far one of the best experiences I have had thus far. You are producing excellence at its best.
I took my friends for dinner on 6 May 2014, but what a disaster.

We had an amazing waitress, but food was non existing. Both my friend are allergic to garlic, and guess what, we could not get one meal on the menu as all items had garlic in. The waiter try to ask the chef to do something, but no luck at all. At last we said steak with a mushroom sauce, the answer was no mushrooms.

The waiter try to keep us to stay, but we could not stay. The worst was that the manager knew about this but did not even come to our table to apologize. We couldn't even have a side dish as all had garlic in.

Any good chef must be able to make any meal without garlic. What a disappointment.

They should call it Cassia Garlic Restaurant

Wow! We have been to Cassia for dinner before but went for breakfast in October! Their breakfasts are fantastic... such a great range (not just the boring eggs and bacon). Venue, food and service all brilliant!
