Update: When the bill arrived the manager was kind enough to admit fault, giving us our food for free :)
Regardless of the ambience and food the service has put me off. We waited 45 min for our drinks and an hour for our food... With several other hiccups along the way. I will never ever ever come back here.
As a parent with a toddle you always looking for child friendly places that you can take your toddler to. There are places like spur, panarottis etc. But when you have a 1 and a half year old those places are not 'safe' enough in terms of your little one getting knocked over or hurt. But bambanis is nice because they have different play areas and cater for different ages and child minders which makes it easier and you can actually sit and have a meal. There food is also good so its a win win for everyone!

I had my son's birthday party there - the service was excellent, they have a beautiful play area for kids. It was awesome loved it.

I haven't been there myself but my girlfriend went there with her daugther and the report in a few words is simple "kids' paradise, food nightmare". They have extensive play area with a full kids kitchen and many other delights for the kids to play but the food is terrible. Even the macaroni cheese was bad. I had a taste of the left over which they took home and it was indeed pretty bad (it ended up in the bin). We're going again for her 5 year birthday so I'll be able to confirm but I'm not looking forward.
