I always enjoy the food, but the flies are really getting out of hand ! What started out as a fly or two after easing of Covid restrictions, has become a real problem. The Hussar Grill (two restaurants down in the same shopping centre) serves mainly meat and fish but does not seem to have the same problem. On Sunday morning 21/11/21, I counted 5 flies from my table. One person armed with a fly swatter could have dealt with the issue in no time because these flies were sitting on tables and chairs almost undisturbed, but the staff (including the manager, diligently cutting cheesecake for a takeaway order right in the middle of the disaster zone) seemed oblivious. Please !
It is such a treat to have an upmarket brasserie style restaurant chain in Johannesburg. The freshly made food, juices and large glasses of crisp wine are delightful. Always sublime.
Tasha's is always a good choice. Great food that you can rely on being the same across the chain. This Tasha's branch is always busy however which can affect service at times. Tends to be slow with both waiters and the kitchen waiting times. But nonetheless have always enjoyed my experience here.
Grace Adonis 28 April 2015 I had lunch with a colleague at Tasha's Morning side,I had a Forget me Not sandwich and i enjoyed it thoroughly and so did my colleague...I would definitely eat there anytime soon,as they where very busy with the lunch time rush but i would be lying if i say we waited more then ten minutes for our order. That is what i call speedy service but also very well presented food. Way to go Tasha's Team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disgustingly rude manager! On Sun 22 March my son and I went for breakfast at Tasha's in Morningside. The food was good, the service ok once we had managed to attract the attention of a waiter, but unfortunately I will remember this visit (probably my last one!) because of the incredibly rude manager who I overheard telling one of his staff who had approached him "what are you doing here, just p*ss off!!" and then followed it up by telling her to "get the hell out of here!!". I'm not sure what she had downe to deserve this sort of treatment but it is totally unacceptable and very unprofessional behaviour. I won't be back.
