Colombo Coffee relocates to Durban North

Colombo Coffee, one of KZN’s much-loved coffee roasters, has merged with The Factory Café and relocated from its Gale Street space to the bustling Kensington Drive strip.

With Durban’s coffee culture heating up, Colombo brews can be found in many of the city’s favourite restaurants. Loyal fans of these beans will have stopped in at the old Glenwood space for a quick flat white, a pastry, or even a coffee course, but now suburb dwellers closer to the coast will be able to get their fix.

Just a stroll from some of Durban’s popular burger bars and sushi spots, the new Colombo coffee hatch will be a welcoming stop for residents and business types in the area. Guests can look forward to an array of warm drinks ranging from the classic café latte and Americano to slow-brewed coffees done in a French press or syphon. Tea lovers will be able to sip on speciality leaves like fruit melange, oolong or flowering tea.

They also offer baked goodies to go with your cuppa, and will soon be whipping up some ready-made sandwiches for foodies on the go.

You can find the new Colombo Tea and Coffee at shop 1, 59 Adelaide Tambo (Kensington Drive), Durban North. Opening times are now 6am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 2pm on Saturdays and 8am to 12pm on Sundays.
