Thanks for your comment. Ou Meul in Willowbridge is lovely – a great light, airy space with seating on the lawn on sunny days. You could also try Soet Bistro in Durbanville. Let us know where you end up and what you think!

As a Pretoria resident I think the fact that one of our best restaurants Kream’s decor is called kitsch by your writers when it was nominated for a style award by your website 2 years ago is strange. However it cannot be that kitsch if you use a picture of it in your article.
Makes me take every review by an eatout writer with more than a pinch of salt.

The other restaurants you name in Pretoria are indeed good and I am fortunate enough to have eaten at all of them so at least I can confirm your review with my own.

Your writers should do a bit more research when commenting on Pretoria restaurants. This is not the first time I have noticed this and is one of the reasons I stopped buying the magazine.
