New South Cantonese restaurant to open on Cape Town’s Bree Street

Capetonians can look forward to a breath of fresh air on Bree Street in mid-February when TOMSON opens its doors to the public. TOMSON is the latest venture from the duo Andrew Kai and Matthew Freemantle of popular establishments Max Bagels and Leo’s Wine Bar. The team will be focusing on the South Cantonese dishes and flavours that Andrew grew up with. He is third-generation Chinese-South African and the name Tomson pays special tribute to his father.
