TheDoll House `I went there as a schoolgirl with friends in the 1950’s and was already a landmark and had been for sometime, surely it was older than 80 years?
By the way Billy Monk is tragically dead so if his work is being exhibited it’s not by Billy himself, but I presume someone has a collection of his work.

This is very sad news, as my wife and I came to SA in 1975 there were a lot of Road Houses around at that time, but the hamburgers at Doll House where the best. When I visited it back in 2015 they were still as big & tasty as they where back in the seventies. Bearing in mind that now there are hardly any Road – houses around. Well, to me it is, as with so many other things in SA , Hystory seams not to be of any interrest to nsome of the decission makers. Money is…….
However rest in peace: Doll house
To the ones that want to pull it down:
Go and try a Mc. D and feel the disapointment

i have been there couple of times , since late 80 s if i remember correctly. i really enjoyed their food every time i went there. i never even remember being there and regret. there service the staff. i will love to see it coming back again. it was one of its kind.
