Pigs in South Africa are one of the most abused and intensely factory farmed animals. Bacon is torture for sentient animals. This is also not some “bunny hugger” position. Major organisations like the SPCA and CIWF harshly condemn standard pig farming practices. Even SAPPO agreed sow stalls should be phased out, but aren’t doing anything about it. http://baconfestival.co.za
