The country style bistro and kitchen, offers scrumptious dishes, treats and homemade products. Their lunch menu is revised daily subject to the availability of fresh produce.

They are renowned for dishes such as South African waterblommetjiebredie, traditional Cape Malay style Bobotie. Salads, cold meat and cheese platters, coffee or tea and dessert options can also be served outside while enjoying the splendid view over the dam, Breede River and mountains surrounding the beautiful Eilandia valley.

    We come as a family to picnic outside and enjoy the view. They offer delicious cold meats and cheeses, as well as classic Sunday buffets.

    The Robertson Slow festival at Bon Cap (Bon Rouge Bistro) was out of this world.

    Hospitable and friendly staff, great laid back farm food, a relaxed environment which is very child friendly with a big play area for kids and you could fit that wine tasting in too.
