We've had a run of great breakfasts here. The Benedict has a lovely Hollandaise, the eggs are always bang on medium as requested, and they have rye bread on request. The savoury mince omelette is delicious too - mince can be a little oily, but very tasty. We have always had very conscientious waiters, too.

We had a lovely breakfast, sitting at the high tables looking out at the buzz of Sea Point Main Road. My partner tried the banana bread French toast - which was delicious and but filling. I had the Omega breakfast with salmon, avo and olive oil - just what I needed. They're also doing functional lattes. The red velvet one is coloured with beetroot and had some cocoa in it - kind of like a pretty pink healthy version of a hot chocolate. I restrained myself from ordering the yellow (turmeric) and green (matcha) one just for the Instagram photo.

I love the Bootlegger ambiance and vibe. The staff are always crazy friendly and the food does not disappoint. I would suggest their soups, made fresh every day and of course; the coffee. The half price CBC after work doesn't hurt either.
They make the best coffee milkshakes! Love the decor. Can get very loud though. Maybe consider some noise damping? Also a fan of the wheat-free crunchies.
