Look to the East for one of Pretoria's oldest Portuguese Family Restaurants with a flair for seafood, they strive to deliver exceptional service to their customers – their gaol mission; to create “raving" fans of their guests and community. What a fading star! It is very clear this establishment has been around for donkey years and haven't touched their tried and tested recipe. Revolting! The decor is dated to the 1980's, aircons are noisy, food is overpriced for the extremely average quality you get. Knew when I walked in I would be dissapointed and I was. Our waiter Ernest was a star, but the owner is by far the rudest fossil I have ever met! Spur will be even a better bet than this dump, please acoid at all cost!

Finally gave this restaurant a try today after reading many positive reviews, a massive disappointment! The setting was decent, the service was poor, the waiter was friendly but had no knowledge on their selections and was unable to make suitable recommendations. The food was extremely shoddy, shellfish was undercooked and raw. The complimentary livers were bland and served with excess oil. Management fails to be responsive when dealing with complaints. I'm sure that this might be a once off bad day but once was enough for me. I would definitely not advise this venue to anyone.

Good selection of great food, some good wines and service which is not intrusive yet available. Just had Sunday lunch there with the Mrs and will be back. Very relaxed atmosphere, somehow reminded us of what restaurants used to be before the Age of the Mall.

I and my husband went there for the first time, especially to see something new, on arrival the whole area's power was out but LM was a light in the darkness, surrounded by cars and full of laughter! It was a busy night but they accepted us with open hands. The pizza special is a must have and the service was excellent even though they were so busy! It’s a warm cosy atmosphere with a pub on the side; I can see why the locals adore this restaurant so much! Will definitely go again!
