Ate at Madeira's last night (20 April 2013) - absolutely disgusting! Waiter should be working in a bank. No music,so no atmosphere, old musty smell on everything from napkins to the water and food attrocious! Prawns dry and mushy and trinchada tasted like cuts of meat dipped in a spur basting sauce. Portuguese my butt! Do not waste your money! Revolting!

Have always liked Madeira - great pub lunches but I hardly go anymore because of the awful music they now play - definitely geared to the young staff - not for the older set - pity really - mainly go to Jakes or Peddlars now.
