    Outstanding cappuccino & pastries
Michelin Chef - food outstanding - service friendly and knowledgable- expensive but worth the experience
Maha is the best place in Durban central for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The meals prepared by award winning chef Charli are phenomenal. The pork belly is a must and the bacon and cheese croissant... out of this world. This is a hidden little gem in a gorgeous location and a place that cant be missed when visiting KZN. And to locals, if you havnt found Maha yet, you are missing out.
Chef Charlie Lakin really manages to make such a short menu an incredibly hard thing to choose from. Everything tastes amazing, and with the menu constantly changing, you're always going to have a hard time choosing what you want.
Lovely place for brunch! Well made/cooked food and interesting menu. Menu changes often which is great. You can tell it’s a menu created by a well trained chef. Service could be a bit more on point but the staff are friendly and try. Definitely worth a visit. Not very big so you may have to wait for a table, but just put your name and number down, then go for a stroll. It’s in a lovely area.
Loved every minute of our visit. Chef Charlie Lakin is absolutely amazing, paying special attention to every aspect of your dish. I will definitely be visiting again (and again).
Fabulous. Beautiful ambiance, and the menu is very interesting. Wonderful meal.
Love this spot! Best service and you can always count on a yummy coffee. The service, meals and sweet treats are delightful whether you are there for a takeout or a sitdown experience..
Outstanding food! Went for breakfast, 3 of us shared 3 different meals. My absolute favourite was the Zucchini pancakes. Vegans will be in heaven. One of the better cappuccino and iced coffees in Durban. Beautiful setting at the very end of Point rd. Do yourself a favour and go treat yourself!
Excellent cuisine. Went to Maha Cafe for dinner. The best meal I’ve had in Durban! The food is on par with other top restaurants in the country I’ve visited. Highly recommended. #eatout #eatoutawards
The setting is calm, peaceful, tranquil and clean ... I love the chic minimalstic vibe going on at Maha Cafe - Very well designed and thoughtful planning. The ambience and design aesthetic alone makes one want to linger a little longer. Having visited during the week, I was surprised to see how well patronized this secluded gem was. The service was excellent and professional as we were well attended to by our host, Mo and our waiter. The food! Well, I'm going to go all out and say top class in presentation and flavors- I could not fault the chef on my delicious meal. I had ox tongue with baby potato hash, cherry tomato, red onion and poached egg, topped with leek ash mayo and my daughter had zucchini pancakes with sugar pea hummus, roasted peppers, brinjal jam and salt lemon with dukka spices... What a treat! The quality and excellence of the meal at such an affordable price was well worth the visit. I was pleasently surprised to note that on the Daily Menu you could request a meal according to your dietary requirements, which included food allergies and intolerances. Vegans are welcome too! Our bill for the two of us including meals, drinks and tip was way under R300. This spot ticked all the boxes! A must visit when in Durban, and to top it off the newly opened South Beach Pier and Ushaka Marine World is just a few 100 metres away. Oh! And not forgetting this spot is pet friendly!
