Location , location, location. Outspan hit the jackpot with stunning views of Kalk Bay harbour and the bustling main road. With their BYOB (bring your own booze) policy, a liquor store is conveniently situated next to the restaurant so ideal for large groups who can indulge on their meals instead of drinks. After camping in Simon's Town, our group of 12 headed to this casual and comfortable restaurant where we all opted for the seafood platter for one giving you a taste of calamari, yellow tail (which was the catch of the day), chips, rice and mussels served with their trademark prego sauce. We took over the restaurant playing a drinking game called "Borrels" and our friendly waiter left us to our own devices so we didn't feel out of place dressed in our casual attire and loud companions. The restaurant has a Monday burger special of buy 1 get 1 free and other reasonably priced dishes to cater for any budget.
