The Vibe there is completely OUT OF THIS WORLD, I hardly go there for the food...always for a pre-jol, but whenever I do have a bite, I am never disappointed.

Went to ROCKETS LOLITAS two weeks ago on a SUnday! Lovely Food! Vibe! Service! People! Result I went to ROCKETS (Parkhurst) again yesterday for LUNCH, on my own nogal! Loved it, badly Desiree " Dezzy" Oliphant Ms UN SOUTH AFRICA 2015/6

Reasonable prices, hearty portion sizes and they play cool music here! I have enjoyed EVERY dish I have eaten here! My only trouble is selecting what to eat because Rockets offers a great variety of food and they all sound so delish! It also helps that it is situated on 4th street which is so vibey!

Great location, and very accommodating management who accepted our walk-in booking for 7 people on a Thursday night with an hour's notice. Unfortunately on arrival the doorman didn't have our name on the list and responded as if we were making the booking up. Get some customer service sense dude! The manager soon corrected this though and we were seated and had a great meal with great service after that. The pizzas are excellent as are the salads and wine selection. The one drawback is a big one: this place is fatally let down by the shocking acoustics. It's nice being in a busy restaurant with atmosphere, but when this place gets busy you have to shout to be heard by the person right next to you. They desperately need to fix this as it really pulls the experience of good food and service down. Get someone in who can sort this out and knows how to dress up walls/ceilings to absorb sound!!

I absolutely enjoyed my time at Rockets. Such friendly staff, great food and generous portions too! Sadly, Durban does not have a branch.
