Silver Orange Bistro was established in 2004, with strong European influences and African flair, each dish is carefully created with flavours that compliment one another; the menu is changed according to season as I believe in only preparing with the freshest ingredients.

    3.5 to be fair, for me it falls short of a 4 star, because of the years of hype and therefor (sometimes cursed) expectations. Service was on the ball and pleasant. 5 Stars for presentation - absolutely gorgeous looking rustic plates filled with colour and imagination. The quality of the food as well as variety however, especially for vegan or vegetarians, were a let down. Nevertheless, the best the NW has to offer and thus still a top restaurant definitely to be visited.

    Brilliant service and amazing food. The aromas & tastes are the best. This is not just our favourite fine dining restaurant in North Wrst, but ranks right up there with the best in the country! Very special & a real treat to visit every time.

    We held our year end lunch at Silver Orange last week. I had tempura sushi for starters, the sirloin for mains and frozen peanut fudge ice-cream bar for dessert. The food was divine, staff attentive and atmosphere tranquil. My favourite restaurant in the Harties area. Only gripe is that there is only 1 vegetarian main course option on the menu, which didn't give my colleague much of a choice.

    This is my favourite restaurant in the area. The food is creative and delicious with fab plating - staff are all attentive and always willing to help and assist where they can. Be sure to walk down to “Almost Orange” after your lunch for a fab G&T
