At The Cellar we offer an intimate dining experience unlike any other on the KZN South Coast.

Owner and chef, Dylan Smith will tantalise your taste buds with his regularly changing menu of contemporary fusion style cooking.

Our front of house ladies will make sure that you are comfortable and that all of your needs are seen to in the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant while the chef cooks up a storm in the kitchen.

Eating at The Cellar was really an experience! The service was great and the food was just phenomenal! The portion sizes were really substantial . I had the crispy duck and the famous white chocolate creme brulee and was still daydreaming about my delicious meal the whole week after. Just writing this makes me wish I was back there eating something delicious! We will definitely be back there again when we were in the area! Thanks team Honeywood and The Cellar for an amazing food experience!
I am a regular and can not find a single fault with The Cellar it is my all time fave! I made a booking at la Trattoria which got 'lost' after getting treated badly by la Trattoria I drove another half an hour to The Cellar even though I did not have a booking they were more than accommodating and everyone is super friendly! The Cellar saved the day and I am so grateful for the great time I haf there!
New residents to Hibiscus Coast we were recommended to try The Cellar. Beautiful property honeywoodsa.co.za. A intimate vibe with chef Dylan introducing himself to Adrian and I, which was nice touch. The Salt and pepper squid with lemon aioli R35 my absolute favourite on the Tappas menu. The crispy duck favourite was not available. Adrian had Pork belly R140 Twice cooked pork belly served with warm salad of roast peppers, courgette and noodles. With sticky soy, roast peach emulsion, fresh coriander, coconut gel and mango chutney. All in all the evening was fresh texture tasty and colourful food and delicious. The only negative was the background music which should have been softer and more mello like Sade or Lighthouse family etc to match the serene atmosphere. Will definitely return for round number 2...
Faultless presentation, unimaginable flavours! The staff are well trained in all areas and provide a perfect pairing between the kitchen and guests. This is a restaurant that should be on Richard Branson' s private island. And a personal thank you to Chef Dylan for extending your craft in the form of a "take-away" (not something any Chef likes to do. But it made our night)
A firm favourite with our crowd, Dylan always surprises with a menu that is out of the ordinary, Kate's service is always impeccable and the ambience, with all it's personal touches, is second to none.
