Food:

The menu is lengthy and may bewilder the uninitiated, but all sushi is top class and literally hundreds of traditional Japanese dishes are on offer. Some tastes like tofu soup or traditional dishes like grilled sardines are more for the Eastern food fundis but should be given a bash by the adventurous types. The yaki don with rice, beef strips and prawns is a good for both the hungry and the inquisitive. All food is fresh. Some may argue that the tastes are a bit Westernised; finding out for yourself is the best bet.

Wine:

Good wine list, but sake and plum wine should be your first choice if Japanese food is your thing.

Service:

Fast, friendly and unobtrusive.

Ambience:

The new mall venue is large and less intimate than the old venue. Decor is still minimalist.

And...:

It's a bit too quiet at times but this makes it the ideal venue for a large, rowdy and hungry crowd. (GU, September 2010.)
