    Amazing food and service.
I only ordered a take away of chicken stirfry, egg noodle and prawn spring roll.

Was not impressed really considering the cost (R128), tiny portion and the stirfry looked like a soup .

No real ambiance and the food is average and a little overpriced - R90 to R140 for a main that does not come with any sides (sides to be ordered separately). During my last visit we ordered a side of egg fried noodles to go with one of the main courses but when the cheque arrived, we were charged for tofu noodles which was 5 x the price. We objected and the waiter proceeded to argue with us, saying we had ordered the tofu noodle dish. I sent an e-mail complaint to the restaurant about this and the owner then proceeded to shout at me over the phone, telling me I was wrong and if his waiter said we ordered the tofu we must have. Never again will I ever set foot in Yindees! Far too many other fantastic Thai restaurants in our beautiful City.

Ambience is lovely; great service, fast, efficient and knowledgeable.

Sub-standard quality of food – dim sum was bland and the vegetarian starter for 2 was such a measly portion that we thought there had been a mistake. Main dishes (stir fries) were so salty that we were only able to pick out the vegetables and meat and had to leave all of the sauce. Chocolate and banana cigars (spring rolls) with ice cream were tiny, about the length of my smallest finger.

I wrote to the manager/owner, with no response.

Great food, pricey wine list, good service but oddly lacking in ambience. Generally enjoyable, but not outstanding in any way. A safe bet for tasty Thai food.
