Food
You’ll find some of the best steak in Cape Town here; generous cuts grilled to perfection with your choice of barbecue or olive oil baste. Some great fish dishes too, but it’s the red meat aged up to three weeks that has kept Theo’s going for over 25 years. Remember that veggies cost extra.

Wine
A wide range of Western Cape estates, with something for most pockets and palates. Disappointing selection by the glass, though.

Service
Friendly and efficient service from waitrons who never stray far from the floor.

Ambience
Great in the daytime, when you can look past the slightly old-school décor and gaze out over the Atlantic.

And...
You can also buy cuts of perfectly aged steak to take home. (RH)

Had a wonderful evening - sat outside, the view and weather was amazing. Had the fillet on the bone and spare ribs with a side order of onion rings - delicious. Service was great and the owner came to clear our plates and check if everything was to our satisfaction. Will definitely go back!

Amazingly good prawns! My girlfriend and I decided to order the ribs and prawns to share, but we enjoyed the prawns so much that we ordered another kilo! Service was also fantastic.
